We build our piers of all steel. We use no less than 8” schedule 40 pipe for our piling, and we normally use a single pile system. People ask how far do they go in? Each property differs. We always drive them to a “point of refusal”..or…till it just won’t go any more…and THAT’s the way it is supposed to be! Don’t let anyone tell you that 12’ is enough…it’s not always enough if it’s a soft area. Ours really are built to last from the lake up. No one builds them better!

We use top of the line, CertainTeed brand vinyl decking. The only thing you need to do is hose it off if it gets dirty The handrail is also steel, and we run galvanized wire thru the center so not to obstruct your view. No wood…no maintenance! We normally build our piers in 4’ or 5’ widths, depending on your budget. The length of your pier, totally depends on the property, and how far out you need to go for water depth.
